From 8-13 April 2018, thirty fellows from the first and the second Atlantic Expedition will convene in Berlin to present their jointly developed Atlantic Action Plan to numerous transatlantic stakeholders. The Atlantic Basecamp will kick-off with a reception and program introduction in the evening of April 8, followed by an internal workshop on Monday, April 9. The coming days, participants will meet and discuss with representatives from Microsoft, the Aspen-Institute, GMF, the Atlantik-Brücke, the Federal Foreign Office, the German Institut for Community Organizing (DICO), the Bundestag, the Office of the Federal President, the BDI, the US Embassy, and the Tagesspiegel. On 12 April, Atlantic Expedition fellows will host a Next Generation Networking Night at the Refugio in Berlin to present their ideas on modernizing transatlantic relations to their peers and the broader transatlantic community. Everyone is welcome and invited to join us for this interactive event! The Basecamp will close with an internal review and retrospective at the Wall Museum at Checkpoint Charlie on Friday, 13 April. We’re looking forward to an insightful week and discussing new ideas on the future of transatlantic relations!
